Our 9th annual Friends of Alice Birney Big Give will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019! Big Give is a one-day online donation drive to raise much needed funds to maintain our IB program. Our IB program is what differentiates Birney from other elementary schools and we cannot take it for granted! Fundraising supports IB certification fees and teacher training, Specials Classes (Garden, Spanish, and Art), and IB Enrichment opportunities like field trips and assemblies.
The maintenance of this program is $275 a year per student.
That is about $1.50 a day per student!
Our goal this year is to raise $30,000 from 200 individual donors. Help us make that goal and get your tax deductible donations in before the year ends! Check the FOABE website as donations come in to see if we meet our goal!

We are always looking for a few people to help out with this event. This one is very much behind the scenes using MailChimp, live updates to our WordPress based website, and the Donor Tools database to keep track of donations.
