Our 13th Annual Run for the Green is now complete and was an AMAZING success!!!
With 329 students participating in the virtual run and over $50,000 raised, we proved that no matter the circumstance, the Birney community is strong, resilient, adaptable and determined to uphold and support our Birney Bees and the IB program that makes their school such an amazing place to grow and develop!
The success of this run directly supports the teachers that bring about the “special” IB program at Birney Elementary. Without it and other fundraisers, we would not be able to continue these programs for our children.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all of the volunteers who planned and organized. Thank you for dressing up, passing out flyers, stuffing envelopes, classroom visits, collecting pledges and most of all supporting our students in their participation.
