It’s our lucky 13th annual Run for the Green this year on March 13 at 2:30. This is our yearly fun and wellness run and campaign to raise funds for all the things that make us an IB School: Specials classes (Spanish, art, and garden), IB teacher training, IB certification fees, field trips and assemblies and more. Every student got a Run for the Green packet last week, so check those backpacks and sign your student up today.

Students will have the opportunity to win really cool prizes like amusement passes, tickets to museums, gift cards, and much more! The first $20 in pledges raised = 1 ticket. Each additional $10 in pledges raised = 1 ticket. The more you raise, the more chances you have to win! There will be two prize opportunity drawings, one for grades K-2 and one for grades 3-5.
Every student who raises $75 will receive one limited edition Run for the Green t-shirt designed by Birney students.
Week 1 will kick off with a special recess for the top class in each grade that has the most students signed up. All following weeks, extra recess will go to the classroom in each grade with the highest amount of pledges submitted by Friday.
