Our 12th Annual Run for the Green kicks off next Monday! During last year’s Run for the Green, we raised almost $50,000 and this year we hope to exceed that amount. We can do it together!
Beginning February 4th, our Birney Bees can start collecting pledges for our March 15th health and wellness run! We’ll enjoy a fun afternoon of running, walking, and sharing good times while we raise funds to help us keep providing those great IB school experiences! When kids collect pledges, they’ll also be eligible for raffle tickets to win an awesome prize, which include bikes generously donated by UHCA!
Keep an eye out for our special student-designed Run for the Green t-shirt, too! Wouldn’t it be cool to see your logo on it? We’re currently looking for sponsors for this year’s run and have some great options that can help make that a reality for you! Email info@friendsofalicebirney.org for details.
These funds allow us to keep providing all of the wonderful things that make us an IB school. We “help individuals and groups become responsible members of local, national, and global communities,” and our kids have a great time growing through our Specials classes, field trips and enrichment activities we provide here at Birney.
