Each year Birney families work with the Parent Organizations of Alice Birney Elementary to raise funds to support some of the many things that make Birney so wonderful. Only because of these fundraising efforts are we able to have our award-winning garden, art and Spanish classes, send all our children on educational field-trips, and have our academically proven International Baccalaureate program for the current school year, so we must reach our goal as a team.
Now that we are halfway into our fundraiser with only $15,000, to go it is time to kick it into high gear. The purpose is meaningful and the rewards are many for us all. Remember, it only takes $20 to get a student’s name on an opportunity drawing ticket and the prizes are AWESOME!! Many companies have donated special prizes (Fitbits, trampoline park passes, tons of museum passes, programmable robots, toys, games, and so much more!) just to support your kids’ hard work and their amazing school. Let’s get out there and win the race Birney Bees! AS A TEAM, WE CAN DO ANYTHING!!
