Birney’s Annual Big Give Event is December 14th!
On Thursday, December 14th, the Friends of Alice Birney will be hosting our 7th annual Big Give in an effort to raise much needed funds in order to maintain our IB program. This includes IB certification fees, Specials Classes (Garden, Spanish, and Art), and IB Enrichment opportunities like Field Trips and Assemblies. Our IB program is what differentiates Birney from other Elementary schools. The maintenance of this program is $250 a year per student. That is just $1.50 a day per student!
The concept for this fund raiser is simple. On Thursday, the 14th go to the Friends of Alice Birney website between the hours of 7AM to 7PM and click on the Big Give link and make your donation. That’s it! Then continue to watch the site as donations come in to see if we meet our goal.
