On Thursday, December 18th Birney will be hosting our 4th annual Big Give in an effort to raise much needed funds in order to maintain our IB program and associated specials such as Garden, Spanish and Art. Our specials are an integral part of our IB program and are what differentiates Birney from other Elementary schools. Those specials cost $150 a year per student. That is just $0.88 a day per student!
The concept for this fund raiser is simple. On Thursday, the 18th between the hours of 7AM to 7PM click on the Big Give link and make your donation. That’s it! Then continue to watch the site as donations come in to see if we meet our goal.
Our goal this year is to increase our donations to 200 individual donors. Help us meet that goal and get your tax deductible donations in before the year ends!
